What is different about your
acupuncture treatments?

Does acupuncture hurt?

How many needles are used?

Where are the needles inserted and how long do you leave the needles in?

I'm afraid of needles, what should I do?

Are there side effects?

What should I expect at my appointment?

How many sessions will I need?

Will insurance cover my treatments?

What is acupressure? Do you offer acupressure treatments?

What is gua sha and cupping?

Do you treat children?

I've heard acupuncture can be used
for animals too. Can you acupuncture
my pet?

I only treat minors (children under the age of 18 years) with the consent of a parent or guardian. I do not offer my acupuncture services to infants or young children.

Children recieving acupunture must be capable of lying and remaining still for a period of 20 minutes, with the needles retained. (Parents may wish to bring music or a book-on-tape for children to listen to during their treatments.) We utilize a skilled and gentle technique in acupuncture, suitable for both adults and children.
