We only see one person at a time. We do not move back and forth between rooms and between clients. We stay focused on YOU for the duration of your time with us.
We are with you throughout the duration of
your treatment. Of course, if you wish to have some quiet time in solitude once the needles have been inserted, we are happy to honor those wishes. If you do wish to be in solitude, we will provide you with a call button so that you can easily reach us if needed.
Our sessions are private.
This allows you to share your health concerns within a confidential setting, and to experience your treatments within a private and comfortable healing room.
We will check in with you each time you visit us.
We will inquire about your condition and symptoms at the time of each acupuncture treatment. We feel it is important to closely monitor how you are progressing after treatment, as this allows us to more carefully tailor each treatment to best suit your needs. Our goal is to assist in returning you to a state of balance as quickly as possible and to help maintain this state of well-being.
We have no long term contracts. You may receive one treatment or ongoing treatments from us; it is up to you and your wellness goals. We know your time, money and energy are precious commodities, and we will do our best not to waste any of them. Therefore, you are not required to sign up for months of treatments in order for you to receive our care. While we generally understand that clients with chronic conditions may require more treatment sessions, and that clients with more acute or temporary conditions may only need a few sessions, we have seen plenty of exceptions to these generalities, and therefore we prefer to assess your progress on a week-to-week and month-to-month basis. When you first arrive at our office, we are already thinking of ways to best assist you and to restore you to well-being as quickly as possible.
Our treatment table is extra wide and extra padded, and our sheets are soft flannel (100% cotton), crafted by a family-owned company. We realize this is not the key to choosing a practitioner, and we also know that these little touches can make you more comfortable during your treatment session. Many of our clients find deep rest and relaxation during our treatments, and we wish for you to feel at home in our office.
We offer services of gua sha, cupping and acupressure in addition to or during your acupuncture treatment.
If and when you may benefit from these additional Oriental Medicine treatment techniques, we can incorporate them into your treatment session at no additional cost to you.
